GazeCom exhibited on FET09, April 21-23, 2009
High-speed eye tracker with full video manipulation / VR helmet Using a high-speed camera and graphics technology originally designed for 3D computer games, this exhibit tracks the eye movements of the observer more than 1000 times per second. Whenever the observers move their eyes, the displayed video is modified instantaneously to filter out potential distractions and to optimize human-machine communication. A similar demo is also shown in a head-mounted display with integrated eye tracking, where visitors become fully immersed in a tunnel navigation task. Gaze-contingent reading system for dyslectic children By tracking visitors' eye movements, this exhibit can measure reading skills and optimize its text display accordingly. Gaze-controlled Breakout game In this demo, visitors can play a game that is controlled by gaze, or they can compete with their friends in a gaze vs. mouse setting in multi-player mode.Project Meeting : Prague, Czech Republic
